I graduated from the Semmelweis Medical School, and specialized in internal medicine, in endocrinology and in clinical oncology. I also conducted scientific research in Heidelberg (1987-88), Düsseldorf (1993-94) and in New York at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (1999-2006).

I am particularly interested in thyroid disease, other endocrine and metabolic diseases, and the evaluation and treatment of neuroendocrine tumors. I have published several papers in prestigious journals such as Nature, Medicine, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and reading, and I also like walking in the open air.
